Founded by a small team of 3 seasoned crown green bowlers, BWLS was born from the frustrations we (and you, no doubt) have endured and spectated for decades. Our aim is to better connect the bowling community and create an online network, fit for the digital age!

So what on earth is BWLS? 🤔

Counties, leagues, competitions, delegates, clubs, players, green keepers, businesses and of course players!
To the credit of many, many people there are hundreds of places for bowlers to connect from social media pages and groups to online forums. Our view is that this has led fragmentation and crucially a lack of direct reach.
"I didn't know about that" - "I didn't see that" - "Nobody told me"
Sound familiar? There are 2 key reasons, which BWLS will address from day 1! 👇🏻
Fragmentation - Of the hundreds of groups and pages available, whether it be an association, league, club or competition, how many are you even aware of and how many can you actually be bothered to join and cluttering up your social feed?
Algorithms - So you joined all of them, hundreds! And, you STILL missed out on information? HOW?! Social media uses algorithms to determine which content it thinks you will want to see! On average if you have 1000 followers, only 20-40 people will see your post. We're algorithm and advert free so when you post - people see!
